Capital Projects competitively bids out all projects over $25,000. An invitation to bid is mailed out to a list of contractors by specialty classification according to the project requirements. Projects over $100,000 are advertised on the Marin Independent Journal. Detailed bid packages for a given project can be purchased for a nominal fee (cash or check) in Room 404 of the Civic Center.
The invitation to bid includes the following information:

Location where specifications and drawings can be purchased
