This interactive map application offers digital maps that are used for the Countywide Plan. During the public hearing process these digital maps may be changed to reflect what the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors recommend for the final, approved version of the plan. Until the plan is formally adopted by the Board, the maps are provisional only - they are neither policy nor "law".
The purpose of this interactive map application is to allow you to view several map "layers" simultaneously. This shows the relationship between administrative boundaries, property boundaries, natural features and/or policy boundaries. The number of map layers viewable at one time is limited, however, in order that the data can be easily viewed. Note that some maps will not become visible until you “zoom into” a neighborhood.
Be aware that digital data has come from a variety of government agencies and have varying degrees of accuracy according to the scale at which they were generated (almost all sources were paper maps).
Best if viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0
or greater at a resolution of 1024x768 or higher
